Long Throws- Improving Throwing Strength
This throwing drill focuses on long throws and helps improve throwing strength and accuracy over long distances.
Pair up the team into partners by positions. Start with players about 10 yards apart.
Players play catch with their partner and one partner should take a step back after 5-6 throws until each player has reached their maximum throwing distance. For some players this might be 200 feet or so.
